New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off 9 Vande Bharat trains via VC. The trains were inaugurated in 11 states, with the PM saying that the government has been focusing on modernising rail infrastructure and providing “ease of travel” over past 9 years. He underlined that the speed and scale of infrastructure development in the country now matches the aspirations of 140 crore Indians.

Modi said that the nine Vande Bharat Express trains will significantly improve connectivity as well as boost tourism across India. He further added that the popularity of Vande Bharat trains is constantly rising and over 1,11,00,000 passengers have already travelled in them. He added that day is not far when Vande Bharat trains will connect all parts of country.
