Ruckus over Nandi Gaushala; Oppn walks out of Assembly
Jaipur: The opposition BJP on Friday cornered Gaupalan minister Pramod Jain Bhaya during question hour and staged a walkout.
While replying to a question asked by Subhash Poonia, Bhaya informed the house that Rajasthan is the first state in the country where the protection of stray cows has been started by establishing Nandi Gaushalas at every Panchayat Samiti level.
The minister said that the process of setting up Nandi Gaushalas is going on. LoP Gulab Chand Kataria said that it was the budget announcement of 2019 but still only process is going on.
During the reply of the minister, Kataria wanted to speak but the Speaker called another question and did not allow Kataria to speak following which the Opposition BJP staged a walkout.
Speaker Dr CP Joshi advised the MLAs of the opposition that it the minister gave wrong information, then they could bring a Privilege Motion.
