Rohit Shetty confirms the shooting schedule of Singham 3!

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Rohit Shetty created a cop universe on merely a film, ‘Singham’ that he brilliantly made in 2011. Who would have thought that the remake of the 2010 Tamil film ‘Singam’ would be the base for such a successful and huge universe! Now, Rohit Shetty is coming up with the third instalment in the Singham series and is providing fans with his ultimate Jodi with Ajay Devgn.

The filmmaker confirmed the making of ‘Singham 3’ and also revealed the shooting schedule. Talking to Indian Express, Rohit stated that they are working on the details for the film for now and hope it to be the massive entertainer of the year. The film is expected to go on floors in April 2023.

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe began in 2011 with his first-ever police action family drama, ‘Singham’ starring Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal. It was followed by the sequel ‘Singham 2’ in 2014 and then ‘Simmba’ in 2018, introducing Ranveer Singh into the universe. He then brought in Akshay Kumar with ‘Sooryavanshi’ in 2021. The filmmaker is now coming up with his first OTT series ‘Indian Police Force’ starring Siddharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty, which will also be a part of his cop universe.

Currently, Rohit Shetty is working on the completion of ‘Cirkus’, a comedy of errors starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma to be released in December 2022.
