Right from East to West, PM’s booster dose works wonders for BJP!

Jaipur: The central leadership of BJP is completely focused on the state unit which is busy in achieving Mission-25 in the State. Modi’s visits boost momentum in areas where party campaigning may be lagging. During his election tour, PM Modi is reminding the public that he himself is contesting this election. Besides, during his election visits, he also removes the disappointment of the workers and the rift among the leaders.

On Friday, PM Modi once again gave a booster dose to the BJP by reaching the hotly contested seats of Barmer-Jaisalmer in western Rajasthan and in Dausa in the east.

Before the meeting in Barmer, the central leadership of BJP did social engineering and gave place to many faces on Modi’s platform.

By bringing Manvendra Singh, the political heir of former Union Minister Jaswant Singh Jasol, back to the BJP, an attempt was made to send a message to the Rajput community that the community is important for the BJP.

Manvendra is the only leader from Rajput community, who won from this seat on BJP ticket. His family is considered to have a good influence here. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Jaswant Singh had shown his strength by contesting as an independent candidate.

At the same time, by conducting a road show of about 50 minutes on the Dausa seat in the East, Modi not only focused on the Dausa seat but also targeted the seats around it. There were reports of displeasure of Dr KirodiLal Meena, a Minister in the BJP government, on this seat. Modi gave the message of party unity by keeping Kirodi Lal standing with Dausa candidate Kanhaiyalal Meena with him in an open vehicle throughout the road show.

Dr Meena was clearly assigned ‘sole’ responsibility for the Dausa seat.

Modi also made the public realise his closeness to Dr Kirodi. During the roadshow in Dausa, the enthusiasm of BJP workers and the public reached its peak.
