‘Rhea got 44 phone calls from Thackeray father and son?’

New Delhi: Politics in Maharashtra, Bihar and New Delhi may once again heat up in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide as on Wednesday, serious allegations were made against former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray in this matter in the Lok Sabha.

The allegations have been levelled by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde faction MP Rahul Shewale against the father-son duo. “Calls came in the name of ‘AU’ on Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s phone. The Bihar Police has said that ‘AU’ means Aaditya and Uddhav. The Sushant suicide case was investigated by Mumbai Police, Bihar Police and CBI. But people still haven’t got answers to many questions”, said Rahul Shewale.

‘’Where has the CBI investigation reached in the case of Sushant’s death? Has CBI reached any final conclusion in this matter? Are there marks of beating on Sushant’s body? Has the phone conversation between Sushant and his ex-manager Disha Salian been investigated,” Shewale questioned and said, “NCB took action against Rhea Chakraborty. This action was taken in the case of possession of drugs. But before Sushant’s death, Rhea received a phone call. This thing has come to light in the investigation of Bihar Police. The call came in the name of ‘AU’.”

“Did two persons come outside Sushant Singh Rajput’s house on June 10, 2020? Were his laptop and other electronic items confiscated? Was Rhea Chakraborty in touch with a prominent political leader of Maharashtra? Is it true?” Rahul Shewale asked in the Lok Sabha, further adding, “The name of ‘AU’ has come up in this matter. Rhea Chakraborty received 44 calls in the name of ‘AU’. Rhea Chakraborty’s legal team interpreted ‘AU’ as ‘Ananya Uddhav’. The Mumbai Police has not disclosed anything in this regard. But as per Bihar Police’s investigation, ‘AU’ stands for ‘Aditya Uddhav Thackeray’. I have received this information. The CBI has not yet received any information in this regard. So what is the real information in this case? I have requested the Home Minister to take it up.”
