Bhopal/Raipur: Mohan Yadav, 58, on Wednesday took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. The 2 deputy Chief Ministers - Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda- also took the charge officially on Wednesday.

Former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived at the venue. Other BJP leaders including Yogi Adityanath, Nitin Gadkari, Eknath Shinde and Jyotiraditya Scindia were present.

Meanwhile, during the afternoon, Vishnu Deo Sai took oath as the new Chhattisgarh CM. The BJP picked tribal leader Sai, 59, a former Union minister who had also served as Chhattisgarh BJP chief, as the new CM. The oath-taking ceremony took place in the presence of Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Bhupesh Baghel, CMs of other states, Union ministers, senior BJP leaders from other states, eminent personalities, and intellectuals in Raipur.
