Recognition to 8 institutes: State govt seeks reply from Vet univ in 3 days

Jaipur: The state government has sought an answer from the Veterinary University after the First India News expose about the university showing favour by recognising eight Animal Husbandry Diploma Institutes and including them in the counselling. The state government has sought a reply from the university administration in three days. First India News, in an exclusive report, on Monday told how the Rajasthan Veterinary and the Animal Sciences University of Bikaner gave recognition to three new institutes bypassing rules and doubled the seats in five other institutes. Without NoC from the state government, the work was completed in just 5 days. The government has banned the university administration from setting up committees for the inspection of new colleges and conducting counselling proceedings. Animal Husbandry Deputy Secretary Kashmi Kaur wrote a letter to the University Registrar and sought an explanation for issuing affiliation of 100 seats to eight institutes.
