READY TO RESIGN ...BUT CAN YOU PROMISE ME SAINIK AS SUCCESSOR: UDDHAV

Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray, fighting a revolt that has endangered his govt in Maharashtra, said on Wednesday he is “ready to resign” anytime, but can you promise me next CM will be from Shiv Sena, but stopped short of announcing his resignation as CM. Sena chief said he was “hurt” at his own party men turning on him. “Despite Pawar Saheb’s and Kamal Nath’s support, if my own people don’t want me to be CM then what should I do? I don’t know if I can call them my people,” he said.
