Ranveer Singh lays naked in his latest photoshoot and interview

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Ranveer Singh is a cheerful and enigmatic personality who knows how to capture the attention of his audience. He has always shown a side of him that makes people laugh and be in awe of him. But there are rare times when the actor lays naked in front of his audience for them to see his deepest and darkest thoughts. But during an interview with Paper magazine, this is exactly what happened, physically and emotionally.

Giving a tribute to Cosmopolitan’s 1972 cover of Burt Reynolds, Ranveer laid naked in front of the camera for a beautiful but naturally controversial shoot for this still-too-conservative society. Talking about his photoshoot, Ranveer bared his soul out when he said that he has been naked in his performances as well. “It’s so easy for me to be physically naked, but in some of my performances, I’ve been damn fucking naked. You can see my fucking soul. How naked is that? That’s being actually naked. I can be naked in front of a thousand people; I don’t give a shit. It’s just that they get uncomfortable.

Further adding on his otherwise larger-than-life appearances and why he always chooses to be over-the-top, the Lootera actor said, “I like minimalism in my spaces and maximalism in my appearance. You go to any space that’s mine, it’s completely sparse, painfully minimal. And I’m very protective of that. I’ve never shown the world my personal spaces. Never. Not a single picture of me in my house. When guests come over, I ask them not to take any pictures. You’ll never see my house in AD. I just want there to be a space that I know is free of eyes. There are only a few spaces left like that for me.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently working on Karan Johar’s directorial comeback, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The actor also has Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde and many other yet-to-be-titled projects.
