Ranveer Singh claims his nude photos were tampered with and morphed!

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot caused more than what the makers intended for. It did spread a wave of body positivity among the youth but offended several because ‘his bum could be seen’. After the actor was summoned to the police station for questioning regarding the case filed against him for obscenity and hurting women’s modesty on August 29, it seems that there is a new twist to the case after reports of his images being tampered with surfaced.

According to the latest report by ANI, the Gully Boy actor claimed that someone tampered with and morphed the photos. “As per information accessed now, the actor in his statement has claimed that someone has tampered with and morphed one of the photos,” the report stated.

After an NGO and activist Vedika Chaube filed an obscenity complaint against Singh at the Chembur Police station, the police summoned him for questioning. The controversy was ignited when the actor shared nude photos on social media with the international magazine Paper. During his two-hour interrogation by Mumbai Police, he offered to return for questioning to assist the police in their investigation.

On Chaube's plea and the NGO's complaint, Ranveer was booked for selling obscene books, objects to young people, insulting a woman's modesty, and other charges under Section 292, 293, 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
