‘Ram Rajya’!

It is said that our world isn’t made of earth, air and water or even molecules and atoms; our world is made of moments in time. The saying stands proved today for India is at the cusp of a moment in history that has been over 5 centuries in waiting. Today’s moment and the ‘godly development’ - the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla idol - has been awaited by generations of Bharatiyas, some of whom have waited for generations spanning 500 years!

As of now, India stands at a cusp from where the strifes between various communities can end, from where we as one people can start to look forward towards a better future, from where the nation can gradually start taking its place as the leader or the ‘Vishwaguru’ among the league of nations taking all others along, from where no enmity is held in hearts of 2 communities and from where the entire world learns about love, and mutual respect in the truest sense.

But perhaps the biggest moment of all, in the entire 500-year history of the Ram Janmabhoomi issue, was the ascent of Narendra Modi to the chair of the Prime Minister and how the developments took place thereafter. Several leaders came before him, but perhaps even the God had envisioned him to see the matter through and to ensure the developments of the Temple. From here on, India will not be the same, the people will not be the same and our understanding will not be the same. Change is inevitable and this change will be for the better this time around, there is no enmity or hatred among people, rather there is understanding and regard for each other.

With the idol finally being consecrated, what better way would there be than to learn from God himself: “In the garden of thy heart, plant naught but the rose of love” — Lord Ram.
