Rajasthan: Kunal Vashisht of Sri Ganganagar clears APRO exam at first attempt

Ganganagar: Kunal Vashisht of Sri Ganganagar has been selected in the recently held Assistant Public Relations Officer (APRO) examination of Rajasthan. On reaching back home from Jaipur, Kunal was welcomed by his parents with sweets. Kunal has given the credit for his success to his parents and his hard work.

26-year-old Kunal Vashisht, a resident of Kunj Vihar, did his schooling in Sriganganagar and after that went to Jaipur and Delhi for his higher education. Kunal's father Ajay Vashisht is an administrative officer in PWD and mother Anita Vashisht is a teacher here. Looking at the sudden boost in digital media during COVID times, he thought of making digital PR media a career. He did his Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media from Mudra Institute of Communication and Arts. After this, he worked as a digital media manager in many well-known companies. Kunal has also worked as a Digital Media Consultant in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Delhi.

Regarding the APRO exam, Kunal says that he gave this first competition exam and studied at his own level without any coaching. As soon as he got time after the job, he would study from books following which he got success.

On the use of social media, Kunal says that every technology is neutral and it depends on us how we use it. If we use it in a positive way then it proves to be good for us and the country and if we use it in a negative way then its bad effects are also seen. He says that he wants to do something for the area and the country by going to the administrative service and for this, he will make further efforts.
