Jaipur: 11th edition of India Stonemart 2022 ended on Sunday. Speaking at Valedictory session, Rajasthan Industries Minister, Shakuntla Rawat said that like in past editions, 11th stonemart has been fruitful in exchange of ideas, creation of direct business links & growth of stone market for both buyers & sellers. She announced that 12th edition will be held from Feb 1 to 4 in 2024. 11th stonemart was jointly organised by Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO), Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) & FICCI. Min further said that future of Rajasthan’s stone industry is bright. It has a distinct identity and is in huge demand both in India & abroad. The Rajasthan stone is even being used for the construction of Ram temple. The demand for sandstone & granite from Rajasthan is increasing by leaps and bounds.
