Raj ranks 5th in Congress’ Digital membership drive

CM Ashok Gehlot's assembly seat Sardarpura ranked 11th

Jaipur: In the Congress’ Digital Membership Campaign, Rajasthan has ranked 5th in country by adding about 21 lakh new digital members & nearly 19 lakh offline members.

Total more than 4 lakh new members have been added. PCC Chief GS Dotasra's assembly constituency Laxmangarh remained in the top 10, while CM Ashok Gehlot's assembly constituency Sardarpura ranked 11th.

However, Tonk, the constituency of ex- Dy CM Sachin Pilot, couldn’t make it to top 50 & ranked 59th with only 10,481 members. MLA VP Solanki, Pilot’s close aid, was at number 93 in Chaksu with 4,982 members. Phalodi & Chittorgarh topped the digital membership campaign with 58,197 and 55,274 members respectively.

Among the ministers, Tikaram Jully and Mamta Bhupesh remained on the top. Many veteran Congress leaders lagged behind in making digital members, among them the prominent name is Sachin Pilot. The ministers include Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Mahesh Joshi & RS Yadav.
