Kotputli: Operation Chetna is underway in Kotputli’s Dhani Bhadiyali, where the young child Chetna has been trapped in a borewell for over 94 hours. The rescue operation has not yet been successful due to resource & technical issues, and now rain has become an additional obstacle.

The operation has been ongoing intermittently since Thursday night due to rain. District Collector Kalpana Agarwal said, “Rain has become an obstacle in the rescue. We are trying to complete this operation as quickly as possible, but the situation and conditions are constantly changing.” As a precaution, a second hydraulic crane with a 100- ton capacity has been brought in, and a new casing pipe has also been ordered. There were technical issues with the final casing pipe.
