Rain fury brings life to a halt in Hindaun, Dausa

Hindaun/Dausa: Heavy rainfall has led to a flood-like situation in Hindaun City, Karauli, with water levels rising and affecting several villages. District officials, including Secretary Ashutosh AT Pednekar and District Collector Neelabh Saxena, visited the area to assess the damage.

Overflowing ponds, Jat ka Talab and Jalsen Talab, forced families to evacuate, and NDRF & SDRF were deployed. The city remains waterlogged, cutting off roads to Karauli, Gangapur, & Bayana.

Dausa district also faces severe waterlogging, affecting low-lying areas and colonies in Lalsot. Train services were disrupted on Dausa-Gangapur City route, where tracks were submerged.
