R Madhavan: Want to stay as relevant as Clint Eastwood and Amitabh Bachchan

Mumbai (Maharashtra): R Madhavan has established himself as a star in the Indian film industry. Be it Bollywood or the South film industry, Madhavan is a name that is loved everywhere. The personalities who inspire the actor to do more good content are Clint Eastwood and Amitabh Bachchan.

The actor revealed in an interview that Eastwood and Bachchan are the two artists he religiously follows. Madhavan mentioned that at 91, Eastwood is breaking rules and making movies of his choice and also winning Oscars. Even Amitabh Bachchan is keeping himself busy with work and still being relevant in the industry.

The 3 Idiots actor further talked about the things that make him happy as an actor. He said, that the thing that he would love is when the audience will see his character instead of him while watching a movie. He also added that he does not do films or series for any awards.

R Madhavan was last seen in his debut directorial ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. He played the titular character of Nambi Narayanan, an ex-ISRO engineer who was falsely accused of espionage in 1994. Released on July 1, the film has been received positively by audiences and critics alike.
