Priyanka Chopra reveals there were people who wanted to jeopardise her career: You have to shut off the noise

Mumbai (Maharashtra): If success had a name, it would definitely be Priyanka Chopra! The actor has not only created a successful career in Indian cinema but is also thriving in the West. She has bagged some of Hollywood’s leading projects and has a beautiful family and home in Los Angeles. But the actor revealed that many people do not wish for her success and want to jeopardise her career.

The Krrish actor made the statement during her recent visit to her home country, India. Priyanka flew in for a three days work trip to promote the launch of her hair care brand, Anomaly. She even met up with several influencers and could be seen shooting some fun Instagram reels. She even opened up about her career and family in Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps’ podcast.

Priyanka expressed that some people made sure she did not get any projects when she was doing well in life. But she did not mention any names during her conversation. She said, “I have had people wanting to jeopardise my career, take away from my work, make sure I wasn’t cast just because I was doing well in what I was doing.”

Revealing how she came out of that, the actor added, “But that’s not what stops me. I don’t sit and wait and harp on, maybe I will cry one night when an opportunity was taken away from me, but I don’t sit in the s**t. You have to shut off the noise. Focus on the one person who believes in you. Focus on light, a little bit of inspiration that you might see and that’s the hardest thing to do because you are bogged down by baggage and shackles of people holding you down.”

The actor also said that not many people are happy about your success and the people in India are no different. She further clarified rumours regarding her worshipping Satan for her smooth success and refuted such claims.
