Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas share the first picture with their daughter on the occasion of Mother’s Day

Los Angeles (California): Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a global icon with some of the most accomplished movies and series under her name. She has conquered every possible feat, from being an actress to a singer to an entrepreneur, producer, amazing wife, and now a beautiful mother. The actress who gave birth to her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy on January 15, celebrated her very first Mother’s Day as a new Mom on May 8.

Thus, on the special occasion, the actress shared the first picture of herself with her baby and husband Nick Jonas. The actress was seen holding her daughter close to her chest while Nick looked at the child lovingly. The actress wrote a lengthy caption sharing her thoughts on the past 100 days when her baby was kept in the NICU due to premature birth. She thanked every doctor, nurse and specialist in the hospital for taking care of her child. She even revealed the cutest nickname she has given to her daughter, MM which stands for Malti Marie.

However, to protect the privacy of her baby, the actress placed a white heart on her daughter’s face.

The actress wrote, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.”

She further wished every mother and caretaker in her life a happy Mother’s Day, stating that they make being a mother look so easy.

The actress even thanked her husband Nick Jonas for making her a Mama and expressed that there is no one she’d rather be a parent with.

Nick shared the same image with a similar caption. He signed off his note by thanking his wife Priyanka and wished her a special Mother’s Day. He expressed that she already is an amazing mother as she is taking on this new role with such ease and steadiness.
