Preparations begin for auction of 12 mineral blocks: Agarwal
Officials asked to make strategy for mineral exploration
Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary Mines, Petroleum and Energy Dr. Subodh Agarwal has informed that preparations have been started for auction of 12 minerals in the state.
Of these, 3 blocks of potash, 6 of basemetal, one of tungsten and two blocks of nickel and platinum group are being prepared.
ACS Dr Subodh Agrawal informed that these blocks are being prepared on the basis of the recent report submitted by Geological Survey of India to the state government.
He said that as per reports, potash reserves have been discovered in Churu, Sawai MadhopurKarauli along with Bikaner division. He said that these blocks of potash would be auctioned in the form of composite licences.
