Political and entertainment industry pour in their condolences after the death of comedian, Raju Srivastav

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The entire nation was praying for the speedy recovery of comedian Raju Srivastava who made several generations laugh together with his excellent comedic timing. However, the news of his death came as a wave of shock to his well-wishers and sent the nation into a state of mourning. Right from politicians to his comedian friends and actors, everyone paid their condolences to the actor and comedian and his family.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi shared how saddening his demise is for everyone. He wrote, “Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years. His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah tweeted, “Renowned comedian Raju Srivastava ji had a unique style, he impressed everyone with his amazing talent. His death is a great loss to the art world. I express my condolences to his family and fans. May God give them the strength to bear his grief. Om Shanti Shanti.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh too condoled his family after the passing away of the comedy legend. He wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the passing away of renowned comedian, Raju Srivastava ji. Apart from being an accomplished artist, he was also a very lively person. He was also very active in the social field. I extend my condolences to his bereaved family and fans. Shanti.”

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended his condolences as he tweeted, “Very sad to hear the demise of famous comedian Raju Srivastava ji. May God give place to the departed soul at his feet. My condolences to his family and all his fans in this time of sorrow.”

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri called him a friend and brother while expressing his grief over his death. “My brother, friend and the country’s wave of happiness, Raju Srivastava is no more.
