PM SETS STAGE FOR MODI 3.0

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday set the tone for the BJP’s Lok Sabha poll campaign, urging party members to focus on the government’s pro-poor initiatives and the nation’s development trajectory. PM Modi asserted that winning 370 seats will be a true tribute to its key ideologue Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

Mookerjee was a strident opponent of Article 370, which granted J&K special rights. Modi govt scrapped the article in August 2019. PM said every booth worker should now focus on polling booths, ensure atleast 370 more votes for BJP in upcoming polls than in 2019. Modi told Opposition will raise unnecessary and emotional issues during polls but we should stick to issues of country’s rising global standing. ‘PM Modi has been the head of a govt, including over 12 years as Gujarat CM, for nearly 23 years and there has been no allegation of corruption. It is an ‘Aarop Mukt’ & ‘Vikas Yukt’ period under Modi’, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde said in media briefing.
