Union Minister for Heavy Industries, Mahendra Nath Pandey, who will also be in attendance along with other UP MPs, is likely to be given charge as UP’s BJP president, another kind of thank you for the Brahmin community in UP, of which over 99% voted for the BJP.

The source told First India, “According to an internal survey conducted by the BJP, the Scheduled Caste (Dalit) communities in UP had overwhelmingly supported the BJP in the recent state assembly elections , even more than the OBC communities that voted for BJP in large numbers. The PM visit to Kushi Nagar is a ‘thank you’ visit.”

The source further noted that while returning from Nepal on Monday the PM will travel via UP again and attend a crucial meeting at the CM’s residence where the poll strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls would be discussed. “Already, UP has mandated individual ministers for every district of the state. The emphasis on a result-oriented outreach will be emphasized at the meeting to be held at CM Yogi Adityanath’s residence on Monday.

BJP think-tank member Mahendra Jain, also BJP Vyapar Cell general secretary of Maharashtra said, “Modiji is the BJP’s visionary, who works like a machine for the party. He does not take rest and won’t allow Karyakartas to rest either. It is not only winning elections but also winning the hearts of the people. Ujjwala, toilets, DBT, free house will be made into a habit for people in the coming future.”
