Mumbai (Maharashtra): Since Shah Rukh Khan’s last venture, ‘Zero’ failed at the box office, the actor has not come up with another project for the past four years. This may have worried his fans that they may not see a Shah Rukh Khan film in a long time. But there is no need to panic as the actor was just gearing up for a blasting year as he is getting ready for some big theatrical releases. Among them is Yash Raj Films’ ‘Pathaan’, which was announced on the occasion of the production house’s 50th anniversary.
The actor had shared a video on March 2 featuring the leading cast of the film i.e., John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. The film is slated to have a theatrical release on January 25, 2023. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra.
According to a report by BollywoodLife, the makers of Pathaan have sold the digital rights to their film to Amazon Prime Video for a whopping amount of Rs 200 crores. YRF has also sold other films to the OTT platform. There is still an official confirmation yet to come.
Along with Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, the first-ever collaboration between the power-packed duo. He has also collaborated with ace director Atlee for his next project, Lion.
