Patankar’s resignation causes flutter in UP
Lucknow: The resignation of Juthika Patankar, a 1988 batch IAS officer of UP cadre posted in the Central government, has led to a flutter in the bureaucracy. Although officials cited personal reasons behind her resignation, her retirement is on January 1, 2024. She was secretary of Central Information Commissioner and not happy with the present responsibility. Before moving to Delhi she was Principal Secretary Governor. S Radha Chauhan, the only woman of her batch, is also currently secretary in Delhi DoPT while her batchmates Navneet Sehgal, Manoj Singh, Arvind Kumar hold important positions.
