Shimla: As Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was on Sunday sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, CM Ashok Gehlot who attended the ceremony said that it is a new beginning in Himachal Pradesh. He told the media that in the Assembly elections, the party got advantage of Old Pension Scheme, which has been revived in Rajasthan.

The ceremony here was attended by senior party leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
CM Gehlot said that Rahul Gandhi’s ideas are being carried forward in the country. Gehlot said that Priyanka Gandhi herself did a great job in Himachal Pradesh while Bhupesh Baghel and Sachin Pilot also campaigned in Himachal elections. The Congress leader said that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is getting tremendous support in the country.

On the other hand, the newly sworn in chief minister of Himachal Pradesh touched the feet of Ashok Gehlot. Sukhu received Gehlot at the airport and touched his feet. Gehlot also congratulated him for the new responsibility.
