Parnami witnesses Shah’s displeasure over Baran episode!
New Delhi: The recent meeting between Union HM Amit Shah and former President of Raj BJP and a staunch Vasundhara Raje supporter— Ashok Parnami—was a development that drew interest not only from the sections of Saffron party, but even from Opposition parties.
While till today, not much was known about meet but Parnami camp claimed that all was well and it was a pleasant courtesy meet, however, knowledgeable sources claim that Shah expressed his displeasure to Parnami.
Word is that Shah was upset over the defeat of the BJP in the Zila Pramukh election in Baran where due to cross voting, the BJP had to lose the district chief ’s seat while it was a seat that was considered to be in BJP’s pocket.
After the BJP’s defeat, the workers were furious and the entire blame of this loss was put on Chhabra MLA Pratap Singh Singhvi, a known Raje ‘warlord’.
In an aggressive and indecent mood, angry workers also ransacked MP Dushyant Singh’s office, who was apparently not involved in this entire game plan. In fact, questions have been raised on the role of Pratap Singh Singhvi in BJP’s internal probe report also.
Meanwhile, Shah also discussed BJP’s defeat in Kota Mun Corp oration (South) with Parnami as well as phone calls made to party’s public representatives during religious tour of Raje.
Although Parnami had already requested for meeting with high command, but due to various engagements it could not happen, however, after Baran ‘debacle’ & its report being handed to Shah, Parnami was called for meeting.
High command has instructed that a repeat of such incidents should not reoccur in future & after meeting Shah, Parnami briefed Madam Raje but her reaction is yet not known.
