PARNAMI ELATED AFTER MEETING SHAH IN NEW DELHI

Jaipur: Former BJP State President Ashok Parnami met Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Monday. The talks between Shah and Parnami lasted for about half-an-hour.

Although it is being said that it was a courtesy meeting, it has become a hot topic of discussion. Parnami is from Vasundhara Raje’s camp.

He, on several occasions, has said that Raje would be the face of the party in Rajasthan. Notably, these days, many leaders are in New Delhi to meet Shah so the meeting between the two has become significant. Paranami, who was until now very quiet, appeared extremely happy after the meeting.

He immediately briefed Raje about the meeting. However, this development has brought a barrage of questions in the ‘relevant sections’ in the BJP and party leaders are wondering whether Parnami praised Raje along with his apprising Shah of his own performance and did he talk to Shah about the internal factionalism in Rajasthan BJP?

Therefore, perhaps for the saffron party leader, the biggest question of the day is as to why is Parnami so elated, yet maintaining a silence on his elation?

Interestingly, a worker associated closely with Parnami has hinted, “Just wait and watch what happens in the future!” Now the supporters of both Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Satish Poonia are guessing as to what could have happened in the meeting and trying to find the actual meaning of the worker’s remark.

However, sources reveal that the High Command does not want to upset any ‘group’ hence, Shah took complete feedback from Parnami, a prime member of Raje group, who also put forward his organisational activism post 2019.
