Parineeti Chopra shares her excitement to join Capsule Gill with a cosy photo with Akshay Kumar

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Parineeti Chopra has been part of some exciting movie projects and has had several co-stars with whom she shared commendable chemistry. One such co-actor of hers is Akshay Kumar, with whom she had a great camaraderie not only on screen but off screen as well. Fans had praised the actress’ short but important cameo in the otherwise war-centric movie, Kesari. Now, the Kesari duo are all set to reunite again for yet another biopic, ‘Capsule Gill’ based on mining engineer, Jaswant Gill.

Sharing the excitement on her social media, Parineeti posted a picture with Akshay on Instagram that captured the hearts of netizens. The photo clearly emanated the close friendship that the duo shared with each other as the Ishaqzaade actress sat on the steps leaning into Akshay who sat behind her. The actress wore a pink hoodie along with black shorts and black shoes. Meanwhile, Akshay donned lilac sweatpants, a navy-blue t-shirt along with a cap on his head.

Capsule Gill is based on the 1989 mine floods in Raniganj, West Bengal. Mining Engineer Jaswant Gill then saved 65 lives and was even awarded by the government for his bravery. The first image of Akshay as Jaswant Gill was leaked some time ago where the actor looked unrecognizable in his Punjabi avatar.
