Palace on Wheels to chug off again soon, as a relief railways waives off ₹13 crore

Jaipur: Railways will waive off the outstanding amount of Rs 13 crores towards Rajasthan’s luxury train Palace on Wheels.

This was broadly agreed in the meeting held in Delhi yesterday. On Wednesday, in Jaipur, Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh held a meeting with RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore and other officials regarding Delhi’s meeting and held discussions on the exercise to bring the tourism sector back on track.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Singh said that after 5 years of the BJP government and 2 years of Covid, now a blueprint is being prepared.

For this, he said, the Chief Minister has given a free hand to the entire team of tourism. Dharmendra Rathore said that the Railway Minister has assured that the license of Palace on Wheels will be renewed in 1 week.
