One IAS returns to UP from Centre, one goes back to C’garh

Lucknow: IAS MKS Sundaram, a UP cadre IAS who was currently posted on deputation, has returned to UP after completing his tenure, while Shruti Singh, an IAS of Chhattisgarh cadre, currently posted in UP, has not got the extension of service posted as Secretary, Director General of Medical Education and Training.

The UP govt has relieved 2006 batch IAS Shruti Singh from Uttar Pradesh to go to her original cadre Chhattisgarh, whereas, sources claim that Shruti Singh wanted to stay more in UP.

Sundaram had gone to Tamil Nadu on deputation to the Central Department of Commerce on July 7, 2015. After the completion of his deputation period in Tamil Nadu, he has returned and joined the appointment department of Uttar Pradesh.

Highly placed sources claim that soon a transfer list of IAS officers will fill the vacant post of IAS Shruti Singh, as well as MKS Sundaram.
