Now, Kejriwal changes his ‘Modi policy’ again!

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal had been avoiding direct attacks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had learned from his experience in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections that a direct attack on Modi is not beneficial as Hindutva voters get angry with it. So, even while attacking the BJP government, he does not target Modi. But it seems now he has changed as he has again started attacking Modi directly on issues, which till now Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had been raising. Recently, Kejriwal attacked Modi on two very sensitive issues.

When PM talked about ending the 'Rewri culture' in politics, Kejriwal was the most angry politician. Although the PM had not pointed the jibe at Kejriwal, but he took it upon himself to make the issue of Modi vs Kejriwal and held a press meet. In it, Kejriwal said that waiving the loans of big industrialists is akin distributing Rewri.

Going ahead, he raised the issue of lobbying the Adani Group to get wind power projects in Sri Lanka and said that by pressurizing foreign governments to get contracts for their friends, it also akin to distribute revdi. This is a very serious allegation. Similarly, when Kejriwal did not get permission to go to Singapore, he reminded how the US had stopped Narendra Modi's visa till a few years ago. It has become clear from both these things that he is once again 'creating furore' because the Lok Sabha elections are coming and he has to present his 'claim' in it.
