Jaipur: Before addressing the Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha at Dadiya in Jaipur on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid obeisance and floral tributes at the memorial site of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in Dhankya, on his birth anniversary, where the RSS ideologue spent his childhood days.
Modi, who reached Dhankya for the first time, stayed there for about 42 minutes.
“Now I am with my family,” said Modi while sharing about his days of struggle. He also posed for a group photo near the statue on request of Sangh officials. At the memorial site, PM Modi viewed various aspects of Pt. Upadhyay’s life, his thoughts, philosophy & his contribution to Indian politics through paintings at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay National Museum.
