Nina Singh to get addl. charge of DG-CISF

New Delhi: IPS Nina Singh, currently posted as Special DG in CISF, has been given additional charge of DG of CISF. Singh is a 1989 batch IPS of Rajasthan cadre and will be the first woman IPS officer to become DG from Rajasthan. Nina Singh is originally from Patna, Bihar. She has been honored with Police Medal in 2005, followed by the Most Excellent Police Medal. Singh’s husband Rohit Kumar Singh is an IAS of Rajasthan cadre.
