Nimbahera shutdown: Anjana targets Kriplani
Chittorgarh: BJP had called for a half-day shutdown in Nimbahera in protest against the deteriorating law and order condition.
On Friday evening, people caught a minor who was stealing bikes, and brought the minor along with the councillor to the Kotwali police station where the police arrested the councillor for disturbing the peace.
Irked by the arrest of councillor, Srichand Kriplani called for the shutdown, which received tremendous public support.
Cooperative Minister Udai Lal Anjana has targeted BJP and former S Kripalani, he said that people haven’t forgotten when the Nimbahera used to celebrate Kali Eid under BJP rule, there was a ban on taking out processions in the market, the police is doing its job, if your councilor was innocent, then you should have complained to authorities.
