New Neuro ICU at SMS hosp marred with issues

Jaipur: The newly completed Neuro and Medicine ICU at SMS Hospital, worth 14 cr, to handle serious patients of coma, neuro and Myasthenia Gravis is facing significant problems. Just a month after its completion, multiple flaws have been identified, including an incident where bathroom’s false ceiling collapsed.

Issues with bed spacing and water dripping from the ceiling have also been reported. The committee has refused to accept the ICU due to these defects, despite pressure from company representatives. Now, College Principal Dr. Deepak Maheshwari has intervened, calling a meeting with hospital administration, a neurology professor, and officials to address the situation.
