Mouni Roy’s make-up artist Albert Chettiar talks about her look as Junoon in Brahmastra
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mouni Roy’s make-up artist Albert Chettiar, who has worked with her for 12 years, had to work hard to get her look right in Brahmastra. The talented make-up artist has revealed that it would take him nearly 3 hours to get the entire look perfect.
Talking about her look, he reveals, “It's not an easy look to create. It took us 3 hours to do the entire look. There are tattoos, then there is a particular hairstyle for this look. It was a very specific look and it was not easy to do it. I did the makeup and the hair styling by B-Blunt. If you watched the movie then you must have noticed that when she was normal, her eyes would be brown. But when she was fierce then her eyes would become red. It was challenging but it was also something fresh for me. So, I enjoyed working on this film. This is my first time working with Ayan Mukerji. He’s extremely talented, hardworking and soft-spoken. He is friendly and I enjoyed working with him. I would love to work with him again in the future.”
Talking about the response to the film, Albert adds, “It was not a usual look that you would normally see in movies. It was very unusual and different from other looks so it was a bit difficult to work on it. People are completely impressed with her work as well as her look in the movie. I am getting a lot of responses on social media and my follower count has increased dramatically after the film has released. So, I am really happy with the response.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
