More people should gain from new mining policy, says Bhaya

Vishvendra Singh, PS Khachariyawas & Rajendra Yadav will hold Jansunwai today

Jaipur: Ministers Pramod Jain Bhaya & Bhanwar Singh Bhati listened to public grievances at the Jansunwai held at PCC HQs on Tuesday. On illegal gravel mining, Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said that it was introduced during BJP’s rule and has taken the form of cancer today.

“The government is determined to stop this. The mining policy will come out soon,” he said. He said the mining policy should be formulated in such a manner that more and more people get benefit.

Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati said that they have given 2.50 lakh agriculture connections so far while BJP gave only 2.75 lakh connections in its five year rule.

Tourism & Civil Aviation Minister Vishvendra Singh, Food & Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and MoS for Higher Education Rajendra Yadav will hold public hearings at PCC Headquarters on Wednesday.

State Congress General Secretary Hakam Ali and Secretaries Mahendra Singh Gurjar and Rakhi Gautam will assist them.
