And at a time when people do not give value to their own words and humbleness has been thrown out of the window, PM Modi has presented a shining example of what is considered these days to be ‘old world honour’. Even after having a winning streak to his name, changing the entire political dynamics of nation and becoming an epi-centre of national politics, Modi carried his humble demeanour on Saturday when he not only accepted defeat in K’taka polls, but also sent heatfelt congratulations to winning party — Congress. “Congratulations to the Congress Party for their victory in Karnataka polls. My best wishes to them in fulfilling people’s aspirations,” PM Modi said in a tweet. Infact, his K’taka CM — Basavaraj Bommai stressed, “I take responsibility for this debacle, will strengthen party again for parl polls.”
