Mithun Chakraborty’s son clarifies that the actor is fine and discharged from the hospital

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty gained a lot of traction recently after his picture of him sleeping on a hospital bed went viral. Fans were concerned about the actor’s health and were praying for his recovery. Mithun’s son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty clarified these images to India Today, stating, “He was admitted due to kidney stones. He is discharged from the hospital and now he is fit and fine.” He was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru after he complained about stomach ache and fever.

These pictures were first shared on Twitter by a former member of Parliament and BJP National Secretary Dr Anupam Hazra on Saturday. He captioned the picture, “Get well soon Mithun Da (I wish you a speedy recovery Mithun Da)”. They later started circulating on several other social media.

One of Mithun’s fans wrote, “Recover soon and return to us Mithun Da. God must bless you dada.” While another wrote, “praying for your health Dada. Get well soon.
