Min Malviya: Isarda dam will be completed in 2023

Tonk: Water Resources Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya was on a one-day visit to Tonk district on Friday where he visited the under construction dam being built in Isarda and instructed the officials concerned to speed up the work as well as inspected the Bisalpur dam while interacting with the media.

Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya said that the target of completing the Isarda dam was fixed in 2023, which would be completed on time, while efforts are also being made to increase the filling capacity of Bisalpur dam to repair the drains given to the farmers for irrigation.

In this regard, action will also be taken. In future, this plan is also being prepared that the water flowing from Mahi Dam can also be brought to Bisalpur Dam.

Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is trying to declare Easton Canal as a national project, but the central government has taken up the matter.
