Meet the modern-day Shravan Kumar, Moushumi and the shortcut-success Titu in the movie Titu Ambani

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The trailer of the film ‘Titu Ambani’ has gone viral on the internet just three days after its release. The trailer has got more than 5 million views on various social media platforms. On June 17, a special press conference was organised in Mumbai to promote the film. Deepika Singh, who plays a responsible daughter in the film, recreated the story of Shravan Kumar by picking up a life-sized weighing scale containing her on-screen parents on her shoulders. Titu aka Tushar Pandey who is portrayed to live by the belief that a couple has equal rights over each other’s money, hilariously peeked into Deepika’s purse, shadowing his character’s words.

The Media and guests loved the unique way of promoting the film. On this occasion, the main cast of the film Tushar Pandey, Deepika Singh, Raghubir Yadav, Sapna Sand, Virendra Saxena, Samta Sagar, lyricist Mayur Puri, producer Dinesh Kumar, writer-director Rohit Raj Goyal were present.

The trailer introduces the viewers to the world of the two lovers, Titu, a debt-ridden lad who wants to achieve success through shortcuts and Moushumi, a daughter who carries her duties towards her parents responsibly. As they both get married, questions on whether a husband has the right over his wife’s earnings and whether a married daughter can take responsibility for her parents, are raised. In a very interesting way, the trailer ends with Raghubir Yadav's hilarious dialogue “Beta fourth ladder par paao dharoge to seedha giroge”.

Deepika Singh says about the film, "We still talk about the equality of both girls and boys in modern society, but in practice, it is not so, can girls fulfil the responsibility of their parents after marriage."

The film's producers Mahendra Vijaydan Detha and Dinesh Kumar say that "On one hand Titu Ambani talks on topics such as attracting today's youth to apply shortcuts for getting success and the duty and rights for girls in the society are still amongst us. It talks about double standards, in short, this film gives the right perspective in a very entertaining way.”

Tushar Pandey, known for his role in Aashram and Chhichhore, says that Titu is a very ambitious man. “He feels that he is not meant for a job. He wants to become a big man who has big ideas for his business and he will be seen acting in the lead role in the film,” the actor added.

Directed by Rohit Raj Goyal, ‘Titu Ambani’ is produced by Mahendra Vijaydan Detha and Dinesh Kumar under the banner of Sabal Productions. The film that has been shot at various locations in Udaipur will be released on 8th July 2022 in cinema halls.
