Measures in place to save Lord Ram Lalla from heat

Ayodhya: In view of the ongoing heat wave days, Lord Shri Ramlala’s clothes in Ayodhya Ram Mandir will be adorned with traditional tie-dye method bandhej, batik and shibori handicraft work done on soft cotton muslin.

It is being prepared by 1500 hardworking women of clusters of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Coolers have also been installed to give relief to Shri Ram Lalla from the scorching heat and changes have been made in the bhog according to the weather.

The Lord has already worn clothes made of Kalamkari of Andhra Pradesh and world famous Pochampally cotton fabrics of Telangana state, along with this, cotton Jamdani of Bengal, Sambalpuri fabrics from Odisha are also being used. Manish Tripathi, who has been designing the clothes of the Lord daily is engaged in this holy work with his entire team.
