Mathur BJP state in-charge in C’garh, Singh continues in Raj

New Delhi: On Friday, BJP announced the names of state in-charges & appointed BJP state in-charge for 2024 elections. In Rajasthan, Arun Singh will remain the BJP state in-charge till 2023 while Om Mathur has been made the state in-charge of Chhattisgarh. Interestingly, with the announcement, the rumours of someone else, other than Arun Singh in Rajasthan, getting the position of state incharge also came to an end. However, Bharti Ben Syal has been replaced by Vijaya Rahatkar. Bharti Ben used to come to Rajasthan on a short stay & as long as she was co-in-charge, she looked disproportionately less active. However, there is a new challenge for Om Mathur. This time, Mathur has been made incharge of Chhattisgarh. But the big question is why was he removed from Raj? Word is that since Raj & Chhattisgarh polls will be held simultaneously, he may not have much say in Raj Assembly polls. By staying in Raj’s core panel, he will also give his opinions about Raj.
