Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has intensified its crackdown on encroachments along the 200 feet sector road, stretching from Mansarovar Metro Station to Sanganer flyover. The operation, now in its third consecutive day as of Friday, covered a two-kilometer stretch and resulted in the removal of 280 illegal constructions.

Chief Controller Enforcement Mahendra Kumar led the operation, which was supported by a robust team of over 200 police personnel, seven JCBs, and five Poclain machines. The cleared area included 188 shops and houses, two hotels and cafes, a school, several marriage gardens, and multiple commercial complexes.

The Development Authority successfully removed approximately 650 encroachments, reclaiming the road boundary from illegal occupation. This extensive operation involved coordinated efforts from multiple enforcement teams and local authorities, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory directives.
