Man dies in Karauli, family alleges murder

Karauli: Family members of a youth who died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hindaun city on Friday night filed a case accusing some people of the village of murder.

According to Mandi police station officer, Girraj Singh, a report was filed on behalf of Suresh, a resident of Pura that his brother Prem Kumar, 36, was called by Gulab, Uday, Samay Singh, Jamuni, Ashok, Yogesh, Murari, all residents of Barkapura, to play Holi but they beat him up brutally with sticks.

The accused, later, took Kumar to the district hospital at Mohan Nagar where he died during treatment.

A few days ago, three-four people, including Samay Singh came and threatened to kill him. A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
