LEAKED! Akshay Kumar’s look in his next film leaked online! Actor looks unrecognisable

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Akshay Kumar does not want to slow down as the actor has back-to-back releases lined up. Now, as the actor is gearing for the release of Aanand L Rai’s Rakshabandhan, he already has started the work on his next film, a biopic. Based on the life of Amritsar-based mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill. Titled Capsule Gill, the film will trace the engineer’s rescue operation where he saved 65 lives when the Raniganj coal mine flooded. Gill was awarded the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak in 1991 by Ramaswamy Venkataraman, the then-President.

The first look of the actor’s character has been leaked on the internet and to say that Akshay looks different would be an understatement. The actor looks unrecognisable in a turban, long beard and glasses. Standing in the field of long dried crops in Yorkshire, England, Akshay looks back while wearing a blue shirt. Reportedly, Parineeti Chopra will reunite with her Kesari co-star to play his wife in the film.

Akshay Kumar’s previous release, Samrat Prithviraj based on the life of the Hindu king underperformed at the box office. Akshay’s next release, Rakshabandhan explores the sibling bond between a brother and his sisters while touching upon the topic of dowry in a light-hearted way. The film, which will release on August 11 stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar along with Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth.
