Launch drive to recover power dues: ACS Subodh

Jaipur: The outstanding electricity bills in the central and state government departments and undertakings will be recovered strictly by running a campaign.

ACS Energy Dr. Subodh Agarwal, in a review meeting held at Vidyut Bhawan on Tuesday, directed Jaipur, Ajmer and Jodhpur Discoms to take strict steps for recovery of dues in government departments and undertakings and make concerted efforts to recover the arrears.

Dr. Agrawal said that about Rs 2,390 crore outstanding till February in Central and State Government Departments and Undertakings has been taken seriously by the government.

The highest outstanding amount is in urban bodies, UITs, municipalities, city councils and municipal corporations etc.
