Krishna Janmabhoomi liberation movement to begin Nov 27 in Vrindavan
A mass movement for the liberation of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura will begin on November 27, mirroring the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. The initiative will start from Vrindavan, where saints and Mahatmas from different parts will gather under the guidance of Shri Banke Bihari Ji.
The Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas has organized a Dharma Sansad on this date, with extensive preparations underway to invite Shankaracharyas, mathadish and Vishwa Hindu Parishad office bearers.
Sources indicate that, similar to the Ram Mandir movement, saints and sages will lead this new movement. The Ram Mandir movement gained momentum largely due to the involvement of ascetic saints who had previously stayed away from public life. Their efforts culminated in the inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat earlier this year.
(Late) Acharya Dharmendra’s comment, “Yeh to pehli jhanki hai, Mathur-Kashi baki hai (This is just the first glimpse; Mathura and Kashi are yet to come),” made after the supreme court verdict in favour of Ram temple has inspired the Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas to pursue both legal and public efforts for Krishna’s birthplace.
Although Acharya Shri has passed away, his call for action resonates in Mathura. The Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas has announced a mass movement to complement the ongoing legal battle.
A recent meeting in Brij Dham confirmed that all court documents have been submitted, and while the verdict is still pending, the Nyas plans to amplify the cause through public engagement.
The International Dharma Sansad will be held in Vrindavan on November 27 to advance this movement.
A petition has been filed in the UP High Court by the Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas. The Nyas’s lawyer, Mahendra Pratap Singh, stated that the case is being pursued vigorously in court.
He explained that out of the thirteen acres of land belonging to Shri Keshav Maharaj’s temple in Mathura, Mughal invaders demolished the temple and constructed a dome on two and a half acres. To reclaim this land, a legal battle is underway, complemented by a mass movement.
This mass movement will commence with the International Dharma Sansad scheduled for November 27 this year in Vrindavan Dham. The event will mark the beginning of a broader campaign for the liberation of Krishna Janmabhoomi.
Somendra Sharma, successor of Acharya Dharmendra- who was a key figure in the Ram Mandir movement, will play a prominent role. He has vowed that if necessary, the saints will undertake a “Mahabharata” to achieve Krishna Janmabhoomi’s liberation, including strategies to address the Shahi Masjid Idgah.
The movement will also feature global awareness campaigns, large religious conferences, and yagnas to promote Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti. Sharma asserts that this effort aims to preserve India’s cultural identity and address the historical impact of Mughal invasions, following the success of the Ram Mandir movement.
