Jogaram’s functioning talk of the bureaucracy

The unique working style of Excise Commissioner Dr Jogaram is the hot topic of discussion in the state bureaucracy and the political realm. In an interesting turn of events, Jograma instructed officials to conduct raid on a restro-bar in Jaipur city.

However, the Commissioner sent another inspector instead of the concerned circle inspector to take action as the restro-bar - Rajasthan Royals - was being operated in Jaipur west circle without license.

On Thursday, First India News had disclosed the illegal operation of the restro bar and during the raid, 14 boxes of beer were recovered from the restro bar in Vaishali Nagar.

Earlier on 18 September 2021 also, illegal beer was confiscated from the bar and FIR was registered. Despite this, the operator had not renewed the license, nor had the application filed to compound the complaint.

Excise Commissioner had given instructions to North Excise Inspector (EI) Harish Sharma for action and Sharma recovered the beer from the bar that was being served to customers.

After this action, an important question has arisen in the excise department: Was the restaurant bar operator serving beer with the connivance of West EI Abdul Javed? Was this the reason why Abdul Javed was not involved in the actionicense.
